I live in the Hollywood Hills, just north of Hollywood in Los Angeles. I rent the apartment I’ve lived in for 15 years. It’s crumbling, leafy; close to the freeway but even closer to coyotes and deer.
I love to cook, and to read cookbooks. I own way too many cookbooks.
I used to be a party girl, but I hardly ever go to parties any more. I go to dinner. I love to go out to dinner.
I’ve been an art gallery attendant and administrator, then a music publicist, then a pastry chef and a yoga teacher. Then I went back to school and learned how to think.
I like thinking scientifically, it reminds me of how I used to think when I was young; before I was discouraged from being so curious.
I feel strongly about social justice, education reform and sustainable farming.
Great blog so far, Susan. Keep it up. You know, I’m one of those readers who has difficulty visualizing what I read. (I always forget who has flaxen hair, who has one leg, etc). I get a sense of character and place based on tone. The best comparison I have is when you meet someone, feel chemistry, but later can’t recall what color eyes they have.
Spot on with the Grey’s. When I go to doctor’s appointments now, I pair off the staff.
I’m currently working with Hasbro, Inc. and Electronic Arts Inc. on their new SCRABBLE ® game for Facebook.
I found your site while searching for people who like playing Scrabble on Facebook and (*although you haven’t had the chance to post in a while) wanted to invite you to be part of an exclusive closed BETA test of the new SCRABBLE® game for Facebook.
If you accept the invitation, I hope you’ll share your experience with your site’s readers. And, of course, we’d also love for you to share your thoughts on the game with us directly.
If you’re interested in becoming one of the first to play EA’s new SCRABBLE game for Facebook, simply reply (please include your website too) and I’ll send you quick directions for joining the BETA test.
Wait a minute . . . you aren’t going to write about the cats? I visualize I read about cats (see: Puss in Boots).
